Roberta devoted many years of service to St. Mary and Elizabeth (Kentucky One Health), retiring from the accounting department. Her steady presence and dedication were reflected in the work she carried out day after day, and in the respect she earned through a life lived with quiet responsibility.
She found comfort in the simple joys of cozy living and lake life—treasuring the calm, the closeness, and the restorative peace that such moments can bring.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mabel McClellan; her brother, Roy L McClellan; and her sisters, Judith Reister and Cathy L. Carter.
She is survived by her brother, Lonnie McClellan (Judy); brother-in-law, James Carter; very close niece, Melissa Richardson (Tim); one special grand daughter, Ashtin Jade Collins (Brandon); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen.
A memorial visitation will take place at Advantage Heady Dixie, 7710 Dixie Hwy, Saturday, September 12 from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm with her memorial service beginning at 2:00 pm.
