Roger was born on March 9, 1952. He loved University of Louisville sports, spending time outdoors walking and hiking, gardening, and watching his favorite television show, Bones. He appreciated nature, and time spent with those he loved.
Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Crook; his companion, Peggy Leachman; and his parents, Frank and Ruby Crook.
He is survived by his son, William Crook (Jennifer); his cherished grandchildren, Charlotte Crook and Carter Crook; his brother, Mike Crook (Annette); along with extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation for Roger will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40272. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Following the service, Roger will be laid to rest in Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
