He was a retired truck driver for Talon Logistics.
He was preceded in rest by his wife, Sharon; a son, Michael; and a brother, Keith "Boots" Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Guetig; three sons, Larry Smith (Jeanee), Steve Smith, and Rick Smith (Pam); eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Smith (Judy).
His funeral will be on Sunday, March 27th, at 4pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 1pm until the time of service.
