Sandy devoted her life to her two sons and four grandbabies.
She was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, and a member of AA / NA, and worked in administration for various state agencies.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Charles Yates; sons, David Yates and Matt Yates (Dawn); father, Thomas Hobbs; sisters, Pam Garber and Robin Ramser-Porritt; and grandchildren (who lovingly called her Mo), Ava, Grace, Abram, and Elise.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive, followed by burial at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-8 pm Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy.
Memorial gifts may be made to Incarnation Catholic Church / ACTS program for retreat scholarships.
