Sara Williams

Sara Jane Williams, 80, of Louisville, passed away July 22, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Sara was co-owner and office manager of Williams Auto Repair and a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristy Williams; sisters, Phyllis Webb and Phoebe Woodrum; brother, Hudnal Snodgrass; son-in-law, Michael Hammond and her beloved dog, Scruffy.

Sara has left to cherish her memories, her husband, TJ Williams; daughters, Kathie and Kimberly Williams; daughter-in-law Greta Rensenbrink; several nieces and nephews and other children she helped raise and her two dogs; Eli (little brown) and Stella.

Sara loved sports, she especially enjoyed traveling to see the UK Wildcats and NASCAR, and she was a long-suffering Cincinnati Reds fan.

Sara was a lifelong supporter of St. Jude’s Children Hospital, in large part because of the love and support they give to children like her baby Kristy. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children research Hospital

A celebration of life for Sara will be Saturday July 28, 2018 at 10 AM at advantage funeral home Hardy Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday July 27, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
