Steven Ralph Otto, also known as Papaw (Paps), passed away peacefully on Friday November 16, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Steve was a very hardworking and devoted family man. What Steve loved above all was spending time with his family at the lake, which was his home away from home. He considered himself a fisherman, even if they all got away. He loved boating and enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren all the things he loved to do. He was a self - appointed handyman who could fix anything. He leaves behind his loving wife & best friend of 42 years, Connie Otto; Son, Jeff Mercer (Mary Jo); Daughter, Amy Olson (Marc); Brothers, Thomas Otto, Greg Norris (Joanne), Keith Norris (Missy), Vince Norris (Julie); Sisters, Carlene Smothers, Kathy Morgan, Emily Watts, Mary Schweinhart, Theresa Johnson (Dennis), Pam Heichelbech (Keith); Seven grandchildren; Corey Mercer, Ryan Mercer, Megan Mercer, Abby Thornhill, Railyn Mercer, Dallas Mercer, Claire Olson; Steven’s Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 4-8pm at the Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
