Tammie Lynn Harper

Tammie Harper, age 51, passed away on January 11, 2026. She was born and raised surrounded by family and love and will be remembered for her kind heart, joyful spirit, and love for those closest to her.

Tammie was a devoted mother to her daughter, Ashley, whom she loved dearly. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, and her presence brought warmth and laughter to all who knew her. She enjoyed country music, dancing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Tammie had a special way of making others feel welcome, and she took great pride in bringing people together through food and shared moments.

She was preceded in death by her son, Baby Harper; her father, Danny Harper; her brother, Daniel Harper; her grandparents, James Harper and Ollie Harper; her uncle, Kenneth Harper; her aunts, Sue Ann Hurt, Mary Joyce Allen, Vonda Flowers, Juanita Sexton, and Loretta Anderson; and her cousins, Billy Dewayne Cassady, Scott Harper, and Jessica Roarke.

Tammie is survived by her daughter, Ashley Harper (Christopher Wells); her long-term life partner, Mike Hesler; her mother, Carol Shuffett; her sisters, Jennifer Harper, April Harper and Stacey Harper; her brother, Chris Shuffett; her aunts, Carolyn Vibbert and Mary Lois Watts; and her cousins, James Bragg, Helen Vibbert, Kenneth Vibbert Jr., Darrell Hurt, Farrell Hurt, Tim Hurt, Billy Anderson, Jeff Anderson, Bradley Anderson, Michelle Pendleton, Jessie Vibbert, Jerry Gass, Dale Watts, and Kim Green; along with many other relatives and friends.

Tammie Harper will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
