Born in Ashland, Kentucky on Wednesday, January 4, 1956, Terry was the son of Donald Lee Jordan and Geneva Ann Jordan. He began working at 16, where he went to work for Henry Vogt as a Welder. He would ultimately retire from Sypris. His biggest passion was his family and friends. He was a big family man and loved working in the garage with his son on cars. When he wasn’t in the garage he could be found cooking on the grill, which was another passion of his. He loved his job and his coworkers. He often found solace in nature, loving the lake and fishing. Terry was an avid UK wildcats’ fan and loved to watch the games. Above all, Terry had good faith.
Terry was loved and he will be deeply missed.
Besides his parents, Donald and Geneva Jordan; his brothers, Allen Jordan and Greg Jordan, precede Terry in his passing.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 years, Karen Jordan; his son, Travis (Nicole); daughters, Kristen and Kaitlin; grandchildren, Michael, Kayden, Marissa, Brayden, Austin, Kynlee, Chevy, Kamari, Malakai, Holdyn, Hayzlee and Bryleigh; his siblings, Sheri (Harold), Sandy (Glen), Linda (Darrel) and Cindy; many nieces and nephews; plus, a host of other relatives and friends that he loved deeply.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. also at Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel and then again on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 10:30 am until the Hour of Service at 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel or to Highland Memory Gardens.
