Early Saturday May 24, 2025, Venita was called home to be with Jesus. There to meet her were her Parents, Matthew A. Hibbs & Alice Bell Gray Hibbs; brother, Matthew A. Hibbs Jr.; sisters, Beverly Ann Modglin Hibbs, Joy F. Jewell, Betty J. Lane, Nancy C. Wright; and Granddaughter, Ashlyn D. Hibbs
Venita always loved music and dancing, working with horses at Churchill Downs when she was younger. She later was a member and served at Tabernacle of David for many years. She also supported several TBN ministries. In her later years she enjoyed making jewelry and dreamcatchers, researching Native American heritage and sharing the Gospel.
Venita had a big heart and loved her family. She is survived by her partner of 21 years, Jim Robertson; children, Shawn R. Hibbs, Shannon Hibbs, Shane Hibbs(Mike); grandchildren, Shawn T. Hibbs, Korie Hibbs (Andrew), Nathaniel Hibbs,Andrew Hibbs, Alyssa Hibbs (Travis), Destiny Cox, Michael Wells, Dylan Wells; great grandchildren, Demetri Hibbs, Nikolai Miller, Mikayla Hibbs, Jaden Hibbs, Alaina Hibbs; Fourteen nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and nephews.
