Vernon Charles Curl, Sr., 86, entered into rest on Thursday November 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Forrest and Naomi Curl; Brother, Jimmy Curl; Sisters, Ruth McVey and Betty Stowers; He belonged to the following Organizations, Jaycee’s, Boy scouts, U.S. Army National Guard, Co-founder of West Point River Days Festival, Served on West Point City Council, West Point Elementary School Board, Retired Fire Chief for West Point Volunteer Fire Dept, and Ky Colonel. Vernon is survived by his Wife, Carolyn Curl; Children, Stephanie Tasseff (Tom), Gaye Moore (Eddie), Brad Alexander (Lisa), Butch Curl (Lynn), Beth Alexander; Sister, Wanda Walls (Bill); Grandkids, Thomas, Andrew, Matthew, Little Eddie, Alex, Jonathan, Paige, Jacob, Sam, Ben, Austin; Great Grand kids, Kaden, Ava, Miller, Liam, Levi, Ellis, Xander, Axel, Hudson, Naomi, Cooper, Willow, Blake, Penny, Briar, Delilah, Forrest; His Funeral Service will be held on Monday December 2, 2024 at the Advantage Funeral Home at 6:00 pm with Cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Monday December 2, 2024 from 11am – 6:00 pm at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to WHAS Crusade for Children.
