Victor W Rearden, age 69 passed away on August 24 at Norton’s Brownsboro Hospital. Vic was born in Louisville Ky, He grew up in Indianapolis, and graduated from Indiana University. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served proudly in the US Army, in the 101st Airborne. He retired as an electrician from IBEW 369. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1181, and American Legion Post 148. In 2005 he was diagnosed with Hydrocephalaus, and fought that battle for 11 years, undergoing many surgeries. He still lived his dream, by spending winters in Ft Myers, Fl. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 21 years, Linda Lanham Rearden. Children, Brad Rearden, Curtis Rearden, Leigh Turner (Chad), David Moorman, Sherri Randolph (Randy), David Henninger(Nicole); And nine – grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Burgess (Ron), and uncle Harold Green. His funeral service will be on Saturday at 7:00 pm at the W.G. Hardy Funeral Home & Cremation Services. With visitation after 2pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made the Hydrocephalaus Association.
