

He was a machinist auditor for the International Association of Machinist, a Kentucky Colonel and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Lucian is survived by his wife, Ava Rose Lucian; two daughters, Carol Ann Lucian and Diane Nichols (Ken); a son, Robert Lucian (Libby); two stepsons, Robert Barton (Kitty) and Arlis Glenn Barton (Marcia); a stepdaughter, Rebecca Newton (Jacky); two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Lee Marino, Rosemary Merriman, Angie Phillips and Joan Mudd (Howard).
His funeral service will be on Thursday 1pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm and on Thursday from 11am until the time of service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the New Salem Baptist Church Building Fund.
