She was a self employed sub-contractor and landlord.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Donnie Tharp and Dannie Maulden.
Survivors include her husband, James Payne; daughter, Carla Gay (Mack); granddaughter, Tonya Hilger (Kevin) plus several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her service will be noon Friday at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service with burial in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. and Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home
