William "Bert" Bottomley

He was preceded in death by his father Bob Bottomley and mother Michele Self. He leaves behind his wife Donna, sons Tyler (Ashley), Jacob (Becca), Joel (Alana), sister Sandy Steiner and grandchildren Preston and Kayleigh.

He is now in a happier place with no more wheelchairs, no more being incapable, no more only seeing out of his right side, no more brown m&ms, no more nasty nursing home food, no more curbs, no more special parking spots, no more leg braces, no more dead batteries, no more strokes, no more seizures, no more depression and no more tears.

In Heaven he will now get to walk, build all the projects he wants, go boating and camping, skiing again, see everything clearly, ride the bike he had been wanting, use the planer he just had to have, go to the garage anytime he wants, hang out with his mom and dad and Grammy and Pop, grill out again and watch over all of us.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 Tuesday March 17 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by cremation. An informal prayer service will be held at 7:30.
