CAHOE, William Harlen (Bill), 85, died on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Audubon Hospital. He was retired from the USAF and from Jefferson County Public Schools. He was preceded in death by his parents; J.H. Cahoe and Susan Ada (Smith) Cahoe, and a sister, Christine Blanford.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Ray) Cahoe; a son, James William (Libby) and a daughter, Michelle Hardy (Critz); four grandchildren: Stacie Molasky, Regina Fairbanks, Kevin Hardy and Kelly Nash; two great-grandchildren. Brothers; Louis, Albert (Happy) and Eugene. Sisters: Rosie Thompson, Edith Reiter, and Margaret Boone.
Bill was a longtime friend of Doctor Bob and Bill W.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 12:00 pm with burial to follow at St. Catherine’s cemetery in New Haven, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to The Healing Place, 1020 West Market Street, Louisville, KY 40202 or St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
Visitation will be Monday April 17, 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
