He was a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer and retired from University of Illinois Campus Police as a
Sergeant , he was of Lutheran Faith, a member Ancon Masonic Lodge F & Am, Panama Canal Zone.
Survivors include a son, John Nissen (Erin) and a daughter, Ronda Nissen and a granddaughter,
McKenna.
Service will be 10 a.m. Friday at W. G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service with
Burial in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery at Radcliff, Ky.
Visitation Thursday 1-8 p.m.
A Masonic service will be conducted Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
