He worked for many years as an auto mechanic at both Carriage Ford and Big O Tires.
William's passing was preceded by his two wonderful wives, Dorothy O'Bannon and Debbie O'Bannon, both of whom he loved dearly, as well as his parents, Elbert and Mary O'Bannon and daughters, Peggy Frank and Joyce Skaggs.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Todd and Chris Frank, Tiffany Henderson, and Matt Poole, Justin Henderson; great-grandchildren Ryan Malone and Patrick Frank; his loving sister, Mary Ann O'Bannon; and last but certainly not least, Sofie, his much-adored four-legged sidekick.
Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home (located at 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, 40272) on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, at 1pm (12pm for close family). This will last through to the memorial service, which will follow at 6pm that same evening, with burial taking place the following day, Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, at 1pm at Bethany Cemetery (located on same lot as the funeral home).
