

Bill was an Army veteran, served in the Korean War, and retired form Marley Cooling Tower. Bill fondest times were spent with his family, his dog Zeus, listening to country music and watching old westerns and football, especially a Steelers game.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Viola and companion/wife Edna Bell, his mother Mary Piccolo McGill Reed and his Brothers, Tony McGill, Tom McGill, Dick McGill, Joe McGill, Bob McGill and sister Mary Sue McGill Johnson and son-in-law Billy Brown. He has left to cherish his memories his five children; William A Piccolo II (Tina), Patricia Ann Besaw (Kevin), Tina Wachtel (Rick), Margie Brown, and Mary Piccolo; one sister Judy McGill Hanes. Ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A life celebration for Bill will be held Monday September 18, 2017 at 12:00 p.m.at Advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be Sunday September 17, 2017 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Committal service will follow in Bethany cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Crusade for Children.
