

Born at University Of Louisville Hospital to Yolanda Span and Damon Clyburn on February 3, 1997. Yamora was a vibrant young woman, with a heart large enough to fill a room. Yamora loved all forms of artistic expression, from paintings to pottery creating many different works of art. She was an aspiring graphic designer and nail cosmetologist about to complete her junior year at Nossi College of the Arts located in Nashville, TN. Her keen eye for texture and color was embodied by every medium of art she used, If you were special enough to receive artwork from her you can see how she was able to capture your essence in her art. Although she attended several schools starting with grade school and continuing through college. Yamora never hesitated to uplift a friend or even complete strangers. She always had an open ear or a shoulder to cry on. All who crossed her path felt her kind heart and loyal spirit. Yamora attended school at Jeffersonville High School (Jeffersonville IN) then Kennesaw Mountain High School (Kennesaw, GA) finally, Graduated and attended Prom wearing her favorite color (Purple) at Hunters Lane High School (Nashville, TN). Some knew her as a peacekeeper. Others knew her as a confidant. She always encouraged unity and positivity among friends and family.
Although, Yamora had many other gifts and talents, her love for singing ranked high on her list. Whether in church, at school or with her sisters she loved to sing. But, even her love for music, singing, fashion and art could never be surpassed by the love she had for her younger siblings. She was a natural nurturer and a fierce protector. Yamora’s oversized heart and loyal spirit will forever resonate in the hearts and minds of all who knew her. She attended church with her grandparents Johnnie and Irvin Parish at St John Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, TN and her late Uncle Bruce Bailey at House of Praise in Louisville, KY. She was survived by her Mother, Yolanda Span, Father, Damon Clyburn, Dad, Rodney Barber, Sisters Shaakira Barber and Essence Span, Brothers Nazareth Barber, Donoven Clyburn, Terrance Jenkins and Darius Combs, As well as her grandparents Irvin and Johnnie Parish, as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
