

Melissa was born on February 27, 1986, in Denver to Howard and Roslyn Egan. She was raised in Centennial, Colorado, and graduated from Cherry Creek Academy in 2003.
Melissa was currently enrolled at Colorado Christian University and was set to graduate in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Special Education.
Melissa worked for years as a CNA and worked with students and adults with disabilities. She was currently working at the family business, Egan Printing.
More than anything, Melissa loved her family, especially her two children, Natalie and Luke. She loved music and singing, especially karaoke. She was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, and Narcotic Anonymous, and was loved by all. She devoted her life to bringing people to sobriety.
Melissa was preceded in death by grandmother Carol Bailey; grandfathers Donald Smith, and James Egan; aunt Helen Egan.
Surviving are her 2 children Natalie Mullen and Luke Thresher; her parents, Howard and Roslyn Egan; sister Becky (Ken) Zeyte; brother James (Robyn) Egan; grandmother, Elaine Egan; nephews Eli and Ethan Zeyte; niece Penelope Egan. She is also survived by 2 bonus daughters, Maddy and Frankie; and by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnstown, CO on Friday, February 5th, 2021 at 2:30 pm. Natalie, Melissa’s daughter requests that everyone wear a sweatshirt in her honor at the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Melissa Egan Memorial Fund at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 1000 Country Acres Drive
