Visitation for Aubrey Willingham, 74, of Lufkin, will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Gipson Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held at the VA National Cemetery in Houston at a later date.
Mr. Willingham was born May 26, 1941 in Paducah, Texas, the son of the late Jackie (Spurlock) and Leonard Willingham. He passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in a local nursing facility.
Mr. Willingham was retired from Groendyke Trucking Company following more than 42 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Willingham of Lufkin; daughter, Sarah Willingham of Lufkin; sister, Patsy Green of Duncan, Oklahoma, Linda Gleason of Duncan, Oklahoma; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dolly and Jimmy Stanaland of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and many other family members.
