Audrey Mae Phillips

Mrs. Phillips was born January 25, 1939 in Wells, Texas, the daughter of the late Claudie Mae (Darby) and Charlie W. Farmer. She passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in a Wells nursing facility.

Mrs. Phillips was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, listening to country music, and collecting her favorite movies.

Survivors include her children, Bailey Phillips Jr. and wife Vivien of Kilgore and Claudia Trapp and husband Gary of Wells; grandchildren, Brandy Dunn and husband Jeffery Dunn of Buna, Kayla White and husband Forrest of Wells, Justin Trapp of Lemoore, California, Daniel Trapp and wife Ashley of Wells, Autumn Holbrook of Kilgore, Kimberly Bailey of Houston and Kathy Bailey of Corsicana; great-grandchildren, Steven Phillips, Brittani Oliver, Sawyer Oliver, Walker White, Alivia White, Waylon Trapp and Gunnar Trapp.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Phillips Sr. (whom she married on July 14, 1956).

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
