Funeral services for Barbara Sue Nash, 89, of Lufkin, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin, Texas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Barbara was born in Lufkin, Texas on November 4, 1932 to Ada (Lovette) and Virgil Nerren. She passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 in a nursing home in Wells, Texas.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She loved going to garage sales with her friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include sons, Larry Nash from Hudson, Texas, Dale Nash and wife Christi from Lufkin, Texas; daughter, Susan Lee and husband Grady from Marshall, Texas; grandchildren Keith, Zachary, Emily, and Jakob; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Lloyd Franklin and wife Dixie from Huntington, Texas; sister, Ruby Kent from Humble, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Nash; brothers, Glenn, J.B., and Kenneth; sister, Ruth.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
