Barbara had lived in Pollok all her life. She retired from Lufkin State Supported Living Facility (Lufkin State School) as a secretary after 33 years of service. She was a member of Pollok Baptist Church.
Survivors include her nephew Roy David O'Quinn and his wife Kristen O'Quinn of Lufkin and her sister-in-law Barbara Lois O'Quinn of Lufkin, as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother David O'Quinn.
The family will receive friends and guests on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Gipson Funeral Home in Lufkin. A funeral service will follow on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:00 am, officiated by Brother Keith Bickley.
Barbara will be laid to rest at the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
