II Corinthians 5:8
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Seeing the pictures reminds me as kid at Oak Grove Assembly of God. The love and devotion Sister Tomez had as a Mother for her children as well as others. She will be missed.

Ms. Bernice was always a woman I aspired to be like. She was the very definition of a wife and mother. Loving, patient, kind.....she always had a smile, a kind word, a loving heart and a prayer for anyone. She had many challenges in life and handled each with her steadfast faith. Her devotion to her husband will forever be a goal for all of us that knew her to strive for. She will be missed tremendously but I am personally thankful that God allowed my path to cross hers. I am a better person for having known her. Much love and peace to the family.
