

Betty Ross Warren, 81, of Lufkin, was born January 5, 1929 in Trawick, Texas, the daughter of the late Pauline Lilly (Box) and Matthew "Jake" R. Ross. She passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 in a local hospice facility.
Betty lived in Lufkin her entire life. She attended TCU and her working years were spent at the Lufkin Telephone Exchange. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church, a member of Christian Women's Fellowship and a member of The Loyal Daughters Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband, Robbie Warren of Lufkin; son, Robert N. Warren of Lufkin; daughter, Pamela Warren Mueller and husband Brad of Monticello, FL; grandchildren, Matthew Warren and wife Kellie, Megan Standley, Caroline Mueller, and twins Eric and Emily Mueller,; great-grandchild, Kailey Warren; special friends, Frances Atkinson and Jo Branton; and a number of other family members and friends.
Mrs. Warren's family wishes to thank Dr. Michael Huber and Teresa, and Hospice in the Pines for their compassionate care during her final illness.

Services for Mrs. Warren will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at First Christian Church, with Reverend Dr. James A. McKibben officiating. Private interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Gipson Funeral Home.
