Cheryl had a gentle and loving spirit. She loved the Lord and cherished going to church. She had a special fondness for animals and always enjoyed wearing her favorite red lipstick and red nail polish. Cheryl had a remarkable memory and never forgot a family member’s birthday.
She is survived by her sisters, Madeline Averett and Melanie Erickson and husband Norm Erickson; her niece Amanda Pettey and husband Parrish Pettey; and her grand-niece Lily Pettey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy and James Wilson, and her grandparents, Guy and Thelma Croom.
A private interment will take place at Glendale Cemetery following cremation.
Cheryl will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
