Dewey Wolf

Mr. Wolf was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He served in the U S Air Force and played softball at the Barksdale Air Force base and Bossier Air Force base in Bossier City, Louisiana. He also served in the Air Force Police and was the Chief of Police in Diboll. He worked as superintendent at the Neches Pines Golf Course for 15 years.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Wolf of Diboll; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Phil Jowell of Pflugerville; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Brittany and Steven Whitehead of Huntsville; granddaughters, Brooke Jowell of California and Christina Jowell of New Waverly; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Diana and Jonathan Cortez; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Zachary, Audrey and Sophi Whitehead, Brooklyn Hernandez, and Addelyn Cortez; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victoria (Quarles) and Dewey A. Wolf.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Stanford, Dwayne Stanford, Phil Jowell, Steven Skinner, Steven Whitehead and Dustin Whitehead.

Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Solly, Julian Rios, Caleb Stanford, Daniel Stanford, Jacob Stanford, and Michael Stanford.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
