Mrs. Sharp was born February 8, 1927 in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of the late Charlcie Emma (Hales) and J. D. Allbritton. She passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in a local hospice facility.
Mrs. Sharp was a retired clerk from the Ft. Worth Star Telegram. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Mary Ann Allbritton of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and R. J. Free of Lufkin, Dorothy Hearne of Corrigan, Betty Craig, Joyce and Jimmy Crain, and Patricia Williams, all of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by her husband Warren Jack Sharp in 2012; and her brother, Jerry Allbritton.
