Dovie Lee Standley

Mrs. Standley loved her flowers, reading and hearing her music. She was a retiree of Lufkin Printing Company. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Union Springs Baptist Church, Corrigan, Texas.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Pat Mosley of Campti, LA; daughters, Shirley Gentry of Lufkin and Linda Williams of Aurora, CO; daughter and son-in-law, Inez and Skeeter Scarborough of Diboll; sister, Margaret Standley of Corrigan, TX; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. H. Kindrick in 1988 and husband, Estis Standley in 2006; 3 brothers; 1 sister; granddaughter, Delores Mosley; and son-in-law, Doyce Williams.

Pallbearers will be Dwyane Dunn, Brian Dunn, Justin Wilson, Josh Hankins, Geoff Hankins, Terry Rowland and Billy Mosley, Jr.

Special thanks to Home Health Services, Dr. John McClain, Dr. Gil and the staff at Woodland Heights Emergency Room.

Services for Mrs. Standley will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
