

Earline was born in Houston on January 2,1959. She graduated from Smiley High School in 1977. She retired from Angelina County Adult Probation Department in January, 2012 after 21 years of dedicated service. Earline loved camping with her sisters, and enjoyed cooking and baking with her daughters.
Earline is survived by her parents Earl and Donna Shuptrine of Houston; husband of 32 years, Steve Sory; daughters and sons-in-law, Kina and John Williamson of Hill AFB, Utah, Denise and Joe Wood; Donna and Michael Brown; grandsons, Justin and Daniel. all of Lufkin; stepdaughter, Teresa and her husband Brenton Queal of Houston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Laural and Louis Keepers, Leslie and George Calvert, Susan and John Martin, and Daisy Shuptrine and Pete Wilkinson, all of Houston; mother and father in law, Wanda and Allen Sory of South Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Sheryl and Jorge Tous of Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Earline was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Angela Shuptrine of Houston.
Pallbearers will be Mark Hogberg, Dain Smith, Paul Love, Dustin Fore, Danny Havard, and John Purvis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Earline's memory may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904; or The American Cancer Society, 212 Gene Samford Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
Earline's family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Hospice in the Pines for the care shown to her during her illness.
Services for Earline will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Judge Bob Inselmann officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Monday at Gipson Funeral Home.
