Mrs. Spain was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She previously worked in the banking industry.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Spain of Etoile; son and daughter-in-law, Harold Lynn and Kelly Spain of Huffman; daughters, Brenda DuBose of Etoile and Deanna Spain of Florida; son, Micheal Spain of Baytown; grandchildren, Jaramey Ham, Kristin Ham, Cory DuBose, Jon Spain and Blake DuBose; 7 great-grandchildren and brother, Gordon Dudley.
Mrs. Spain was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Norma Skinner.
Memorial services for Mrs. Spain will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Roger Spain officiating.
