Reverend Elzine Strong was born February 25, 1925 in Shelby County, Texas. He went to be with the Lord on Sunday night, April 17, 2016.
Reverend Strong devoted his life to the Lord at a very early age. “He fought a good fight. He finished his course. He kept the faith.” (II Timothy 4:7)
Reverend Strong was pastor of Diboll United Pentecostal Church for 55 years. Many were baptized and filled with the Spirit under his capable leadership.
Sister Strong and Regina wish to thank the members of Diboll United Pentecostal Church and the surrounding areas for their love and support.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home, with a tribute beginning at 6:30 p.m.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
