Emma Rose Graves

Memorial services for Emma Rose Graves, infant daughter of Martha (Duron) and Brian Graves, will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Mardy Guidry officiating.

Emma Rose was born and died on Friday, July 28, 2017 in a local hospital.

Oh baby girl, you were a blessing the moment I knew you were there. I kept falling in love with you every time you kicked and moved. I loved seeing you in them ultrasound pictures and couldn't picture myself without you anymore. I couldn't wait for you to be here. Everyone was excited that you were on the way. But then the day came and an Angel wrote in the Book of Life your date of birth, then whispered as she closed the book "too beautiful for earth". And that's when I realized I never knew how strong I was until being strong was the only choice I had. Losing you was like losing my soul, I may put on a front for the whole world, but inside I'm dying. Heaven has gained another angel and a little piece of my heart. You will be missed baby girl. RIP Emma Rose Graves. We love you always and forever.

Emma Rose is survived by her parents, Brian and Martha Graves; brothers, Ricky Graves and Alfredo Graves; grandmother, Martha Velazquez; grandfather, Pedro Duron; grandfather, Michael Graves; grandmother, Lillie Craig; and numerous aunts, uncles and other family members.

Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
