Steve was honestly the most genuine loving person I know. We worked together for many years and even when I left TX Preneed he never failed to reach out to me just to see how I was doing. We bonded through humor and the never-ending need for adjustments to preneed contracts. He loved to joke that I even named my Cat "Steve" in honor of him. He will truly be missed. Condolences to his family from all of his Assurant friends.

Even though I had not seen Esteban in years; getting reacquainted as a result of my brother’s recent passing was so heartwarming. He was as I remembered.. funny.. talkative., and always kind.
I am grateful to Esteban for getting me through yet another difficult time in my life. His loss was not only a shock to my family and I; it was greatly felt by all of us (Mendoza Family) our condolences and prayers go out to all his family. May God bring the family peace and comfort through this difficult time.

Tina, Scarlett and Stephanie
Special prayers to you all during this difficult time. Bunny was a unique man, a special friend that always went out of his way to serve, especially the Hispanic community during a family’s time of need. We will miss seeing Him drive pass our house on his way to work and always honking his grey pickup truck. May he RIP.

GOD UNDERSTANDS

I SAID GOD I HURT
AND GOD SAID I KNOW.
I SAID GOD I CRY A LOT
AND GOD SAID THAT IS WHY I GAVE YOU TEARS.
I SAID GOD I AM SO DEPRESSED
AND GOD SAID THAT IS WHY I GAVE YOU SUNSHINE.
I SAID GOD LIFE IS SO HARD
AND GOD SAID THAT IS WHY I GAVE YOU LOVE ONES.
I SAID GOD MY LOVE ONE DIED.
AND GOD SAID SO DID MINE.
I SAID GOD IT IS SUCH A LOSS
AND GOD SAID I SAW MINE NAILED TO A CROSS
I SAID BUT GOD YOUR LOVED ONE LIVES
AND GOD SAID SO DOES YOURS
I SAID GOD WHERE ARE THEY NOW
AND GOD SAID MINE IS ON MY RIGHT
AND YOURS IS IN THE LIGHT
I SAID GOD IT HURTS
AND GOD SAID I KNOW.

To our beloved Esteban/Bonnie,

We will miss you and the laughter you were so quick to create. You could make anyone laugh and to that there’s no debate. Always the life of the party at all of our family gatherings, it’s going to be hard at the next one when we won’t have what we’re used to having. But you’ll live on in our hearts and we’ll never forget, all the great memories and time we did get. We know we have another angel in heaven looking out for us nowadays, that you’re in a much better place, and God willing, we’ll see you again soon at the hands of God’s grace. Oh how you will be missed. But I guess you were next on Heaven’s list. See you soon brother, uncle and friend.
