Mrs. Reyna was born March 12, 1941 in Nueva Rosita, Mexico, daughter of the late Maria de Jesus Delgado and Juan Carreon. She passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Gregoria resided in Diboll, Texas. Before moving to the United States, Gregoria worked as a phlebotomist at a hospital, where she met the man who would become her beloved husband. Family was at the center of Gregoria’s life. She found great joy in staying home and caring for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was a loving presence in their lives, always making sure they were cared for, comforted, and well fed. Her home was a place where family gathered, and her kitchen was filled with the wonderful aromas of the meals she lovingly prepared. Gregoria was a wonderful cook, and her family will forever remember the delicious food she made with love. Her beans, guiso, and homemade tortillas were simply the best. But more than the food itself, it was the love she put into every meal that made them so special. Those who knew Gregoria will especially remember one simple question she asked her sons, her husband, and her family: “Have you ate?” Her daughter in laws she would tell them to “put some socks on that baby”.
Survivors include husband, Cleofas Reyna; sons, Saul Reyna and wife, Larita Reyna, and Cleo Reyna and wife, Ana Reyna; grandchildren, Amy Niobe Reyna and Leon Reyna, Olivia Nikole Reyna and husband, Landon Gage Williams; and great-granddaughter, Indie Marie Williams.
Preceded in death by her parents, Maria de Jesus Delgado and Juan Carreon.
