

Mrs. Reynolds married Basil Reynolds on April 23, 1938 at Bald Hill in the Thompson home. In 1941, she and her family moved to California where they lived until June 1991, when they returned to Lufkin. She is a member of Lufkin's First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Helen Marie Mehl of Sonoma, California; granddaughters, Alison Mehl Mokski of University Place, Washington and Margo Lynn Mehl of Sonoma, California; great-grandsons, Matthew Mehl Mokski and Andrew Mehl Mokski, both of University Place, Washington, Levi Wayne Mehl of Sonoma, California; sisters, Hallie Allen of Lufkin; Nell Cox of Bald Hill, Millie Crain and husband Grady of Dover, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Reggie Massey of Seal Beach, California, Mary Reynolds of Seal Beach, California, Ruth Reynolds of Balboa Island, California; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Reynolds; brother, Boyce Thompson; sister-in-law, Minnie Ann Thompson; brother-in-law, Jesse Cox; and nephew, Clay Cox.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Reynolds' memory may be made to Gilbert's Chapel Cemetery, c/o Wayne Thompson, 127 Burton Road, Lufkin, Texas 75901.
Pallbearers will be Brad Allen, Greg Cox, John Crain, David King, Pablo Torres, Bob Rader, Wayne Mehl, and Dennis Vansau.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Winn, Ray Hunt, Cody Cox, John Cox and Jeremy Torres.
Services for Mrs. Reynolds will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Jessie Lee Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in the Gilbert's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
