James L. Glover

Mr. Glover was born September 15, 1932 in Hemphill, TX and passed away November 24, 2015 at his residence. He was the son of the late Maudie (Seales) and Walter Glover.

Mr. Glover was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his Lord and his family. He enjoyed the outdoors; he was a master gardener; and loved hunting and fishing. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was retired from Lufkin Industries and was a truck driver for 52 years. He was a member of Denman Avenue Baptist Church for 15 years. He will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Christine Glover of Burke; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Pam Glover of Diboll and Lynn and Nethia Glover of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Ronnie Markle of Hudson; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Dawn Glover of Huntington; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one younger brother and his wife, Gerald and Johnnie Glover; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Conald Glover; and granddaughter, Ashton.

Pallbearers are Robert Fenner, Jr., David Glover, Ronnie Markle, Bronson Glover, Lynn Glover and Terry Glover.

Honorary pallbearers are Dusty Glover and Michael Brent Glover.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Conald Glover; and granddaughter, Ashton.
