

Jeremy was born in Irving, Texas, and raised in Plano by his parents, the late Joe Leediker and Kahlynn Nan Leediker. He graduated from Texas Tech University, where he was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Jeremy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, and went on to establish a distinguished career in the financial services industry. Over the course of more than twenty years, he served as an Investment Advisor with JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo Advisors, and most recently, Prudential Advisors. His professionalism, integrity, and dedication to his clients earned him great respect throughout the industry.
Outside of his profession, Mr. Leediker was an avid sportsman and enthusiast. He was a lifelong supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed both fly fishing and deep-sea fishing in Louisiana, pursuits he often shared with his late father. His passion for the sport led him to participate successfully in numerous fishing tournaments. He also maintained a strong interest in Fantasy Football, continuing to take part even during his hospital stay. In addition, Mr. Leediker held deep pride in his family’s long-standing tradition of military service.
Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Heather Leediker of Qingdao, China, and their beautiful children, Evan and Kayla Leediker of Houston, Texas. Jeremy will be remembered with love and admiration for his devotion to family, his professional accomplishments, and the many ways he enriched the lives of those who knew him.
A private visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Gipson Funeral Home in Lufkin followed by a private graveside service at Fielders Cemetery in Lufkin.
A Celebration of the Wonderful Life of Jeremy will be held at 12 noon on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Hanover Post Oak, 1750 Sky Lark Lane, 32nd Floor, Houston, Texas 77056.
