John Dee Hannah

Mr. Hannah was born November 12, 1948, son to the late Faye (McCarty) and Dee Hannah. He passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

John is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed sitting on his back porch and watching his kids and grandkids. He loved to ride the backroads of East Texas. John spent all of his working years as a logger alongside his dad and brother.

Survivors include wife, Nancy Hannah of Diboll; children, John Lynn and wife, Susan Hannah, Lea Shawn and husband, Welton (P-nut) McAdams, Jamie Hannah, Jade Hannah and Britney Hopson, Sabrina and husband, Jeb Bate, Miranda and husband, Ja Arnold, Kaley and husband, Cody Stewart; grandchildren, Chase and Stormy Hannah, Heather and Matt Williams, Jessica McAdams and Weston McLeroy, Jordan McAdams and Cito Pantoja, Shane Hannah, Jamie Hannah, Brogan and Krew Hannah, Landon Sherrard, Layton Brashear, and Brielle Bate, Creed Arnold, and Brooklyn Stewart; and great-grandchildren, Lilly, Jaxon, Waylon Williams, Kylar and Brystol Hannah, Tanner and Ozzie McLeroy, Hadleigh and Hazleigh Pantoja; brother, Roy Hannah and Frances; sister, Betty and Morris Smith; and longtime beloved friend, Gaylon Clark.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son Jonathan Hannah; granddaughter, Courtney McAdams; and brother, Kent Hannah.

The family will receive family and friends prior to the service at the funeral home.
