Justin Michael Rutledge

Visitation for Justin Michael Rutledge, 32, of Lufkin, will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Gipson Funeral Home. Funeral services for Justin will be held next week in Dayton, Ohio, followed by cremation.

Justin was born February 28, 1981 in Dayton, Ohio. He passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in a local hospital.

Justin was a very loving and dedicated husband and father. He was a self-employed computer technician. He was a big gamer – he was very technical oriented. He had a heck of a sense of humor.

Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Monica Rutledge of Lufkin; daughter, Kaylin Rutledge of Lufkin; father, Ron Rutledge of Dayton, Ohio; brothers, Mark Ernst and wife Tasha, Christopher Ernst and wife Kendra and Timothy Ernst, all of Dayton, Ohio; sister, Heather Storts and husband Mike of Dayton, Ohio; parents-in-law, Robert and Beverly Massingill of Lufkin; grandparents-in-law, Joe and Charlene Black of Lufkin; brother-in-law, Bryan Massingill, currently serving with the United States Navy; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Daniel; and niece, Brooklyn.
