

Services for Leah Marie McDonald, 18, of Diboll, were held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Harold Hancock, Regan McKinney, and Luther Bolenbarker officiating. Interment followed in the Darby-Holhausen Cemetery in Moscow.
Leah was born August 26, 1994 in Bossier City, Louisiana and passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in Lufkin from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Leah was employed at Sonic Drive In. She enjoyed music and singing in the choir. She was in the band at Diboll High School and played the saxophone. She loved her son and was very tender hearted to the elderly. Leah was a member of Timberland Drive Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Landon Michael McDonald; parents, Kenneth and Debra McDonald of Diboll; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Keith Suttle of Houston; father of her son, Aaron Harris; grandparents, Myranell McDonald of Pasadena and Luther and Helen Bolenbarker of Diboll; and a number of cousins and friends.
Leah was preceded in death by her grandfather, H. D. McDonald; and sister, Terri Lynn McDonald.
Pallbearers were Ben Chris Bates, Joshua Bates, Garrett Dunkin, Ben Emerson, Dakota Freeland, Charlie Farquhar, Colton Langford and Chance Rodden.
Honorary pallbearers were Brandon Crowson, Zach Crowson and Chad Harris.
