I was proud to call Louise Sanders Burrous my aunt. She was gentle and sweet and reflected all the fruits of the Spirit. She was the wife of a good man and raised two beautiful and strong daughters. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Mrs Burrous was beautiful, kind, and loving to her family and friends. I came to love and respect Mrs Burrous and her late husband Dewey Burrous, caring for them in their home. I could hear her asking Dewey if he thinks I could really cook as good as I said I could. She would place recipes on the counter for me to follow I would, it lasted a couple of weeks. Mrs Burrous came in the kitchen one morning placed her hand on my shoulder and stated “ honey you can cook whatever you can find in the freezer.” Needless to say she never questioned my ability to cook again.
