Mary Francis Durham

Mrs. Durham was born December 17, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of the late Dollie Mae (Knox) Gavette and William Rodney Gavette, Sr. She passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in a Lufkin hospital.

Mrs. Durham was a loving wife, mother, sister and daughter, as well as a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, watching “Charmed” and soap operas. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her son, Nicholas Durham; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jessica Gavette; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dianna and William Gann and Carla and Richard Cannon; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Durham was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Sonny” Durham in 2017; and her siblings, John Charles Gavette, Patricia Anne Gavette, William Rodney Gavette, Jr. and Brian Owen Gavette.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremiah Gavette, Christopher Whittemore, Jr., Aron Gann, Jonathan Dial, Ryan Whittemore, and Rhett Dial.
