Mollie Sue Eaves

Mrs. Eaves was born September 12, 1932 in Corrigan, Texas, the daughter of the late Lela (Maxey) and George Bell. She passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in a local hospice facility.

Mrs. Eaves was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She retired from St. Giles Living Center in 2010. Being born in Corrigan, she graduated from Corrigan High School. She attended Angelina College and received her certificate in medical aid. She was married on May 12, 1973 to Hager I. Eaves. Mrs. Eaves was a member of Denman Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and James Cook of Lufkin; grandchildren, Stephanie Davis and Chance and Bethine Sueck; great-grandchildren, Zane Davis and SarahBeth Ashton; and sister, Edna Glason.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Eaves was preceded in death by her husband, Hager I. Eaves; sister, Betty Jo Bell; and brothers, Buddy Bell and Bobin Bell.
