Nancy Ellen Gibbs

Services for Nancy Ellen Donnell Gibbs, 92, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Brookeland Cemetery in Sabine County. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.

Mrs. Gibbs was born July 13, 1928 in the Odell Community of Huntington, Texas, the daughter of the late Fleetie E. (Robinson) and George W. Donnell. She passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Corrigan Nursing Home.

Mrs. Gibbs was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was an executive secretary and retired from Gulf Oil in Downtown Houston.

Survivors include her daughter, LeNora Gibbs; grandson, Tony Digirolamo of California; 4 grandsons of Texas; 3 great-granddaughters; and 2 great-grandsons.

Mrs. Gibbs was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Don Gibbs; grandson, David Swanson; and daughters, Marcelle Swanson and Donna Gibbs Hart.
