
Mrs. Smith was a medical receptionist for 35 years. She worked with the late Dr. William E. Watson and also for Dr. S. R. Karnati. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's basketball and baseball games. She was a member of Forest Baptist Church before moving to Calvary Baptist Church in Wells.
Survivors are sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Monica Smith of Forest and Brian and Jennifer Smith of Wells; grandchildren, Chasity and Sundance Gauthier of Lufkin, Cali Ann Smith of Forest, Logan Smith and Landon Smith of Wells, Tyler Smith of Forest; and great-granddaughter, Anna Page Gauthier of Lufkin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Maudis Page; husband, Rozell Smith and sister, Pat Gandy.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Dew, Mickey Johnson, Dennis Lee, Bubba Warner, Charles Ray Flowers and Carl Truett.
The family would like to express a heart-felt thanks to her special friends and caretakers, Andra Jay, Darlene Smith, Janie Durham, Dr. S. R. Karnati and staff and the late Dr. William E.Watson and family.

Services for Mrs. Smith will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Grant Hanes officiating. Interment will follow in the Hester Cemetery in Forest, TX
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
