Oralia F. Rodriguez

Services for Oralia F. Rodriguez, 87, of Lufkin, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Emanuel Assablea de Dios, with Reverend Joe Saenz officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born October 29, 1933 in Mexico, the daughter of the late Beatriz (Rodriguez) and Arturo Fernandez. She passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021 in a Houston hospital.

Mrs. Rodriguez was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends. She loved baseball, especially the Houston Astros. She was a member of Emanuel Assablea de Dios.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Gerardo and Eunice Rodriguez, Arturo and Claudia Rodriguez, and Rolando and Laura Rodriguez; son, Roberto Rodriguez; daughter and son-in-law, Leonor and Raul Ramirez; brother, Pepe Fernandez; grandchildren, Raul Jr., Aaron, Jennifer, Jerry Lee, Addison, Veronica, Laura, Roxanna, Ariana, Sara, Roberto, Armando, Greg, Alex, Alan, Daniela and Frank, Azasaia, Ian, Lexie, Mark Anthony; great-grandchildren, Roland, Ava, Brielle, Everly, Giovanni, Norah, Javier, Crystal, Ricardo, Rolando, Rodrigo, Bianca, Jordan, Adriana, Anaira, and Kaydrien; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Romo Rodriguez; brothers, Arturo, Ramon, and Hector Fernandez; and sister, Guadalupe Fernandez.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home.
