As a teacher of 50 years, Pat cared for and positively impacted so many students at Hudson Elementary in Lufkin TX, Leggett Elementary in Leggett, TX, and St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Lufkin, TX.
Pat was a faithful servant of God. She lead the choir at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for 49 years and supported the nuns cloistered at the Monastery of The Infant Jesus in Lufkin, TX by doing their weekly shopping.
Pat peacefully went to the Lord on April 21, 2026 after receiving last rites, saying the rosary, and hearing her friends’ beautiful voices sing her favorite hymns.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Gipson Funeral Home officiated by The Reverend Denzil Vithanage and Deacon Ray Vann.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Monastery of The Infant Jesus, 1501 Lotus Lane, Lufkin, Texas 75904, would be appreciated.
