A Celebration of Life Visitation for Patricia Schraufnagel, 64, of Pollok, will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Gipson Funeral Home.

Patricia was born September 23, 1954 in Long Island, New York, the daughter of the late Alva (Pfirman) and Haviland Mekeel. She passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at her residence.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had only been a resident of Texas for 3 years. Prior to that, she had lived in Wisconsin. Patricia was a Registered Nurse in the Healthcare profession. She was an avid quilter and loved doing needlework. She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard Schraufnagel of Pollok; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Eric Pfeifer of Clinton, Wisconsin; son, Michael Schraufnagel of Slinger, Wisconsin; daughter, Kathryn Schraufnagel of Hartland, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Isadora, Kaleah, and Eleanor Pfeifer; sisters, Cathie Mekeel Carr and husband Ray of Lufkin and Carolyn Mekeel Blakeney of Sealy; and a number of number of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers-in-law; and 2 sisters-in-law.

A memorial service for Patricia will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.

Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
